We’ve made it easy for thousands of bands, record labels, clothing designers, artists, crafters, and independent businesses to make beautiful stores to sell their stuff online.
We don’t have a bunch of complicated features. We don’t make you setup your own server or have a merchant account. We don’t cost an arm and a leg, and we don’t take a cut of your sales.
How do I get started?
First you need a PayPal Business or Premier account. After that, just sign up, add your products, customize your store, and start selling!
Do you handle printing and fulfillment?
No. We provide a lovely online store, but getting products made and orders fulfilled is up to you.
Is this a community marketplace like eBay or Etsy?
No. Your store lives in it’s own world, where you and your products are the center of attention. Not just one more lost in the crowd.
Why is there a limit of 100 products?
Big Cartel was designed for smaller shops. Someone with 200 products has significantly more complex needs than one with 20, and there are plenty of services out there to accommodate them.
We may consider expanding the limit in the future, but for now it’s a good way for us to stay focused on the little guys.
