Introducing Beth Sebian

Our small but mighty team just got a little bit mightier. We asked Beth Sebian to join our Big Cartel crew, and she said yes!

Beth lives in Denver, Colorado and will be building new features and making improvements to Big Cartel on our Product team. Prior to life as a developer, she studied Religion and Politics at college and her first steps in working life were at nonprofits. During that time, Beth became interested in the role that technology can play in helping communities work together to solve common problems. Enter: the Turing School of Software and Design where she both studied and taught. Based on her background, it's no surprise that Beth is drawn to building meaningful products as a developer so she can play a part in improving the lives of others. We're obviously flattered she thought Big Cartel fit the bill.

Big Cartel is a team of makers and Beth is no different. She got into woodworking a few years ago and is currently building a side table, step stool, and an end-grain cutting board. When she's not covered in sawdust, you might find her backpacking in Colorado's White River National Forest, taking in all the plant life and beauty the state has to offer.
