In-Person Orders

Heads up! You'll need a paid plan to sell in person. Gold sellers, upgrade now to access this feature.

Ready to take an in-person cash or credit card order? Sweet! Here’s how:

1. Begin by opening the hamburger menu in the navigation bar at the bottom.

2. Select In-Person Checkout from the navigation menu. Tap on the gear icon in the bottom right corner to add your local sales tax and to configure your payment methods - save your changes when you're done.

3. Tap on any product to add it to the new order.

4. Tap on the Cart icon and order total in the bottom to expand the cart.

5. Use the dropdown menu to adjust quantities.

6. Tap the Discount button to add a quick flat-rate or percentage discount if you’d like.

7. Tap the Proceed To Checkout button, select the payment method, complete the payment info, and finally tap Complete order.

That’s it! Then you can start adding items to a fresh cart. After the order is placed, you’ll have the option to send a receipt to the customer via e-mail, and you’ll be able to view it inside your Big Cartel admin.
