Update your billing details

Big Cartel subscriptions are in USD (the payment provider handles any conversions) and can be paid with the following:

  • Mastercard

  • Visa

  • American Express

  • Discover

  • JSB

  • Cash App

  • Bank transfer

Swapping out the payment method on file for your monthly or annual subscription is easy. Any changes you make will take effect on the next payment due date. 📅

Card declined, and not sure why?

Your card may be getting declined because of a higher level of recent activity on the card, a lack of matching AVS information, or for a range of other reasons that only your card issuer would know.

Your best bet will be to get in touch with your card issuer or bank to see if they've flagged the payment on their end, and ask them to let it through. It helps to have them look specifically for the failed charge attempts coming from us and not just the general status of your card. If that doesn’t do the trick we recommend trying a different payment method. If you continue to run into billing issues, contact support using this link. We're happy to help!

  1. Log in at my.bigcartel.com

  2. Go to Account

  3. Scroll down to the Plan and Billing section.

  4. Click Manage Billing

  5. Use the Manage payment methods & billing address button to add a payment method for your monthly subscription.

  6. Click Save
